DHCP

Server Bindings

If you have a DHCP server running on a Windows Server with multiple network interfaces, but you only want the DHCP server to reply to requests on a certain interface, you'll need to adjust the DHCP server bindings.

DNS

Automatic Stale Record Scavenging

Open up DNS Manager, right-click on DNS server, go to properties, select Advanced tab, check Enable automatic scavenging of stale records. Do this for all DNS servers. I'll flesh this out later at some point.

Make sure you define an aging policy in the DNS zone's properties. You'll see it under the general tab. Click the Aging button, then check the Scavenge stale resource records box.
